This tour operates at a variety of capacities, from 4 passengers all the way up to 44 passengers. Vehicle size will be determined on a case by case basis to accommodate the number of bookings we have for this specific excursion.
Operating in a temperate rainforest, weather is always a factor, but the tour will operate rain or shine. Temperatures can range from 40-70 degrees Fahrenheit during our operating season. Comfortable, waterproof clothing and shoes are recommended for guests, and other items you might want are binoculars, cameras, and strollers if you have small children traveling in your group.
While we want to remind guests that wildlife is not the focus of this excursions, typically, we do encounter a few varieties of wildlife during this excursion. During the salmon run season, up to 5 different species of salmon can be seen throughout the tour, and in the first half of the summer, bald eagles are incredibly common. Black bears, whales, and seals can be seen at a distance from time to time as well.

Our team monitors cruise ship schedules, docking positions,
and actual locations regularly throughout the day, even during
and after your tour, so our guests can be informed of any
changes to their port call and any changes to our schedule to
accommodate the ships’ schedules. In the event that the tour
time you booked conflicts with your port call because of ship
schedule changes, a full refund will be issued.
